Steve Partleton – Managing Director
Steve started his career as a boilermaker after completing a 4-year apprenticeship. He started in the drilling industry in 1978 at the age of 18. He worked for a water well drilling company, starting on wire line percussion drill rigs and progressed to top head rotary drive using air/foam or mud flush.
In 1996 Steve emigrated from England and on arrival purchased a small geotechnical drilling company. He expanded the company and built new machinery while training staff. In 2006 Steve left the company and formed GeoDrill.
Tom Partleton – Driller
Tom Partleton, fourth generation driller.
Tom has been employed in the drilling industry since 2002 and has been employed fulltime with GeoDrill since 2008. During his time with the company, Tom has quickly progressed through the ranks from a driller's assistant and then under the company's supervision he has attained an ADITC accreditation as a Certificate 3 geotechnical driller. Tom has been one of our outstanding employees over the years and has quickly matured to become a valued employee of this company. Tom always puts the safety of his crew, clients and personnel first when carrying out each individual job. During his time with the company, Tom has predominantly been involved with our Hydrapower Scout Mark V drilling rig.
